As part of the release process for 0.19.1, we noticed that slow test and benchmark times seem to have increased by a little more than a third. There's only one set of changes in the release (#100), so we have a pretty good idea of what the culprit is. We should see what in that change is causing the slowdown, and see if we can improve it back to where it was.
