I’m looking into this issue and tried to reproduce the error. I tested https://search.openfoodfacts.org directly and it appears reachable.

Could you clarify under what conditions this Failed to fetch error occurs? For example:

Is it tied to a specific endpoint or query?

Does it occur in production only?

Is it possibly environment or CORS-related?

Happy to investigate further once I understand the reproduction steps

This is because search.off.org does not allow OPTION requests, so the CORS preflight fails.
