Hi all, I'm starting an assignment for the Finnish Meteorological Institute on helping with the standardisation of aviation met EDR and Async (AMQP) profiles/extensions, initially including at least the dissemination of TAF, METAR and SIGMET forecast & observation messages in IWXXM format.
I'm trying to clarify to myself the role of the MetOcean EDR Profile (as developed in this repo) in the overall scenery of the aviation met / SWIM standardisation work. The name of this profile "MetOcean EDR Profile" seems to suggest a connection to the OGC MetOcean DWG. Is it foreseen that the governance of this profile would be somehow fall under OGC, or its MetOcean DWG somehow? Or is this purely an community profile approved and maintained by some other group / organisation?
