Tracking on point layers can be activated but no points are recorded

What is the bug or the crash? What were your expectations and what actually happened?

In QField 4.3 on Android, tracking can be activated for a point layer from the layer tree.

Tracking appears to start normally, but no point features are created while moving.

I would expect QField to continuously create point features in the selected point layer according to the configured tracking settings.

The same point layer can be edited normally and individual point features can be created manually.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Open a project containing an editable point layer.
2. Select the point layer in the layer tree.
3. Enable tracking for this layer.
4. Configure the tracking interval/distance if required.
5. Start tracking.
6. Move around while a valid GNSS position is available.
7. Stop tracking.

Reinstall QField

• I have a fresh install of the latest QField version, but the problem persists.
• Problem can be reliably reproduced, doesn't happen randomly.
• Problem happens with all files and projects, not only some files or projects.

Additional context

• GNSS positioning itself works correctly.
• Manual creation of point features works correctly.
• Tracking can be activated without an error message.
• The problem is specifically that tracking does not create any point features.
