Field name

Hi,
I understand to use the plugin the field in QIGS has to be named "picture" or "photo".
A field named "photo_floor1" or "photo_floor2" does not work, right? So at the moment the field has to have the same name in every/multiple layers?
We would like to distinguish the names of the fields to write the pictures in different tables (and for the use of relations) and to get them sorted afterwards.
Is that possible?

@berniefritsch , that's totally possible :) the current logic here (https://github.com/opengisch/qfield-snap/blob/main/main.qml#L100-L103) can be expanded quite easily.

For e.g., we could have a configuration dialogue in which we have a comma-separated list of valid fields. Or, we could hardcode pairs of vector layer <-> field name. The latter would better work as a project plugin since it'd be tied to a project context.

Thanks for the info! Is there a way to test a modified plugin (I added some field names in main file) as project plugin in QField Windows? Where do I have to copy the edited file? Or is it just working in QField cloud?

@berniefritsch , if you install it as an app-wide plugin, you can edit the plugin main.qml file in its installed directory (it'd be somewhere like C:\Users<your user name>\My Documents\QField Documents\QField\plugins .

You can easily locate that folder by launching QField, openeing the "About QField" popup, and click on the QField app directory hyperlink at the bottom of the screen:
