What is the bug or the crash? What were your expectations and what actually happened?
There is not any "qgs" file in QField, all are "qgz". Does QField Sync not work with projects created by QField?
Steps to reproduce the issue
- New project wizard in QField Beta 7274 Android 9, project name qfstabletest, digitize a point in the default layer.
- Connect Android 9 device with USB for typical mass-storage-class to host having
- New project in QGIS Desktop 4.x, as per recommended stable release from QGIS website instructions for Linux Debian 13 Trixie.
- Save QGIS Desktop project as default to some local directory "stabletest", result is stabletest.qgz
- Plugins : QFieldSync : Synchronize from QField
5a. Select the QField Project Folder : /run/user/$(id -u)/gvfs/.../Android/data/ch.opengis.qfield_beta/files/Created Projects/
5b. Directories to be copied (refresh), select qfstabletest
5c. Synchronize
