Datepicker date appears in US number format on selection

Describe the bug
Datepickers in checkers show dates as dd mmm yyyy, but when changing the date it changes to the yyyy-mm-dd format (i.e. 13 Jul 2022 on preview but 2022-07-13 on selection)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'https://www.checkfirst.gov.sg/c/bb2a6e22-99d3-40a0-a6b0-74718a6c1ada'
2. Click on 'date picker'
3. Select any date
4. See wrong date format
5. Click on date picker icon again, format changes to correct format

Expected behavior
Date should always stay in DD MMM YYYY format, where MMM is in letters, i.e. 11 Jan 2022

I am trying to fix this this bug, was able to setup the repository using the instructions provided on readme file. But how can i login to any test account and reproduce the issue on my end?
