Dear fellow maintainers,

you might have noticed that I've been very quiet lately. This is mainly due to new tasks and challenges in my professional work, which will probably keep me busy for the foreseeable future (at least 2-3 years). An inactive maintainer doesn’t help the project move forward, so I’ve decided to step down as a maintainer. This applies not only to the core repository but also to the other repositories.

I want to sincerely thank everyone for the collaboration, support, and inspiration over the years.

@J-N-K, I appreciate the need to balance work and life, but I'm very sorry to see you step down as a maintainer. I have also greatly appreciated the work you have done, and i know openHAB is all the better because of your contributions. I wish you great luck with your endeavors and i hope to still see you around our community. All the best.

Thank you for introducing me into the maintainer role. Thanks for all the helpful advice over the last years and your patience reviewing my code! OpenHAB will greatly miss your technical expertise and drive to improve things.
