GE/Jasco 14321 - ZWave |
{% include base.html %}
This describes the Z-Wave device GE/Jasco 14321, manufactured by Jasco Products with the thing type UID of ge_14321_00_000
.
The device is in the category of HVAC, defining Air condition devices, Fans.
The GE/Jasco 14321 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.
The Jasco Z-Wave Plus Dimmer Wall Switch (Gen5) enables Z-Wave remote control as well as local control for wired dimmable lighting. The rocker switch provides On/Off and Dim/Brighten control and can be included in multiple automation groups or scenes. A blue LED indicator helps guide you to the switch through the dark.
Features
Works with dimmable incandescent CFL and LED lights
Suitable for single-pole or multi-pole applications
Can be included in multiple groups or scenes
"Z-Wave Plus" certified for wide compatibility
Uses a standard decorative-size wallplate (sold separately)
Once the controller is ready to add your device, press and release the top or bottom of the dimmer switch (rocker) to add it in the network.
Once the controller is ready to remove your device, press and release the top or bottom of the wireless smart switch (rocker) to remove it from the network.

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
The GE/Jasco 14321 supports 3 association groups.
The Lifeline association group reports device status to a hub and is not designed to control other devices directly. When using the Lineline group with a hub, in most cases, only the lifeline group will need to be configured and normally the hub will perform this automatically during the device initialisation.
Association group 1 supports 5 nodes.
Association group 2 supports 5 nodes.
Association group 3 supports 5 nodes.
