@cdjackson you reviewed my tagging PR and very correctly noted that the then proposed approach could not be implemented. Reason was that I was trying to embed the tags in the thing-type xml which is dynamically generated so would override my changes. Therefore I completely rewrote the PR so that the tags are now applied by the binding Java code dynamically at run-time. However I did not get any response from you concerning my new approach, so I guess you may have unsubscribed yourself from it, and may not have noticed the new version.
