Session Model

In the working group meeting on August 5th, we discussed adding a discussion of the session management model to the IPSIE Levels document to provide context for the different session management features applied to different IPSIE levels.

The general concepts of the session management model for IPSIE are...

• session management is in the context of the enterprise
• the enterprise IDP creates the primary session
• the RP session is a secondary session created from the IDP primary session

The model should also define the session management states:

• session establishment
• session extension
• session closure
• ???

I realize this verbiage is not very applicable to the R&E space. I believe the session management constructs are similar but would love some help with the language.
