The same as node, just being able to use the cloud agent, lately for me it has been quite useful 😅

this org basically has no code tho, only docs - generally it's better if humans author prose unassisted rather than filtering it through LLMs first ime.

This isn't about code for me, it is about being able to create issues pragmatically or do GitHub operations that can be automated by agents... There is a real benefit for me, if there's none for you, sure, good. But it is a non-zero sum win for anyone that wants to use it.

It's not zero-cost, though - many people do not want to read LLM-generated prose, and making it easier to create it will force them to do so more often.

If you don't trust org members to refine the content and not generate slop then you're being disrespectful towards other org members. No one is forcing anything on you, you can use it or simply not use it.

Hmm, maybe the tone above wasn't great (re-reading it), but @ljharb what I meant is, I understand how you feel about AI and AI slop. But I don't think that should block others that believe meaningful things come out from this... to be used by people that we trust with good judgement. I'd definitely don't want John Doe slopping here. But, would you think, me or anyone else of the CPC would do slop? 😅

There's a difference between "you have the choice to use an LLM on your own" and "let's make it easier for everyone to use an LLM to 'enhance' their prose/code".

If there's a compelling use case, then great. If not, I'd much rather read shorthand, and translate other languages myself, or use my LLM of choice to interpret it, than have someone obscure their meaning with their LLM of choice. In other words, I'm convinced of the utility of LLMs in aiding understanding on the receiving end; I'm not convinced of the utility of LLMs to aid understanding on the composing end.

Since it's been indicated in a similar issue on the node org that this causes the foundation to be billed, it seems like this is all moot - it shouldn't be enabled at the org level, and individuals with copilot access can use their own account, and those without, can't.
