@titro we offload most of it to https://github.com/opensensor/light-object-detect which has support even for coral tpu, and planned is hailo, as well as CPU onnx models are the default support. I've experimented with libsod in the repository directly in the past with mixed results. Open to discussions and other ideas in this space. |

but i also mean hw acceleration for encoding. is that all done from the CPU? the idle consumption is so low compared to other NVRs and that witout any GPU rendering? How :-D? |

first impression is awesome. Much less CPU Power is needed compared to frigate!
I was wondering, if HW acceleration is availabe? I can see in the docs (but not more):hw_accel_enabled=true
hw_accel_device=
Is that a planned feature?
