[Google] Token is missing when using browser's sync options

So I installed Brave origin on two machines, setup Style Google Drive sync on one. Added the second browser in the sync chain and had Stylus auto installed but in a state where it is complain about [Google] Token is missing without me even setting up the extension. I have noticed this happen after syncing multiple firefox instances too, my Zen Browser setup is messed up due to this.

Possible duplicate of #1248 and #2131 but the resolutions discussed in the threads does not work for me.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Stylus and configure Google Drive Sync.
2. Configure Browser's profile sync
3. Setup browser on another machine / Setup another browser supporting Sync (Zen and Firefox)
4. Wait for Stylus to auto install.
5. Check settings for Stylus -> [Google] Token is missing.

Try to re-connect: disconnect first, reload the extension in its icon's context menu just in case, then set up sync again.

have the same issue ! i can connect to google drive or onedrive but still have the mention "google token is missing"

For some reason I can no longer log out and log back in now too

It seems that the button bar (login/disconnect/sync now) disappeared.

The button disappearance problem is fixed in the nightly builds, or you can reveal the buttons by adding this style until a fixed release is published:

was able to fix "[Google] Token is missing" by adding the code above in my firefox userContent.css to be able to sign out. (sign out close browser then sign in again worked)

Was able to fix "[OneDrive] Token is missing", same as illusionalDex.

When I disconnected, however, the extension was removed. I re-added it from the Firefox Add-ons page, then was able to login again.

💡 I had to uninstall the Stylus Google Chrome Plugin
and after reinstalling it, I was able to re-connect to Google Drive 👌
