Friendlier introduction to consensus, emissions, and slippage

Explain some of the thorny concepts around consensus and emissions in more accessible terms. for example this doc on slippage. Michael was very focused on getting things technically correct, but it could use a more friendly introduction, and needs better discoverability throughout the docs. Slippage is a difficulty when doing transactions, it'll cause stakes to fail and/or make you lose lots of money.
