Release of ES module version

Are there any plans for when the ES module version will be available on npm?
I am currently using the version from https://opentype.js.org/ and it works very well,
but it would be better to load it via npm.

Hi from Leipzig/Germany. You still seem to be the only one who cares about opentype.js. at least. I have enough to do with my own project (x_ite) and am usually the main person responsible, if you have time to join opentype.js and take over the project if you can, it would be very good. Many people rely on opentype.

I am willing to work on ESM development, however would want to clarify the current state of the project first. @Connum I have noticed that you seem to be the primary (if not only) maintainer reviewing issues. If other maintainers have stepped away, can additional maintainers be added from the pool of contributors? I am fairly familiar with the codebase and can help review PRs, however if somebody else is more qualified or has more time, that would be even better.

While previous maintainers certainly do not owe anybody free labor and it's understandable if folks are moving on to other projects, the open PRs show significant interest and development activity by the community regarding new features. Therefore, if enough maintainers are stepping back that PRs cannot be consistently reviewed, ideally that could be accompanied by either (1) adding new reviewers such that development can continue or alternatively (2) updating the README to clearly indicate the project is in maintenance mode, so users looking for significant new features can collaborate on a fork.

Just do it! You cannot go back so why the wait? This is open source so hopefully others will join, contribute, and enjoy maintaining this project.
