Hi there, OpenVINO has not yet been officially announced as a 2026 organization. We don't know if we're accepted. Please wait for the official announcement. |

I’ve been following the toolkit’s growth for a while and am really impressed by how it bridges the gap between high-level AI models and specialized hardware optimization.
I am a second-year AI/ML student currently working on a personal project called "Noisy Boy." My goal with this project is to move beyond simple pattern recognition and explore how we can make AI think more "conceptually." Naturally, this led me to OpenVINO, as I’m looking for ways to run these complex inference tasks efficiently on the edge without losing the "thought" depth of the model.
In my college work, I’ve been experimenting with IMU-based biomechanical signals for postural detection, so I’ve seen firsthand how critical optimization is when dealing with real-time sensor data and hardware constraints.
I’m here to learn more about the best practices for optimizing GenAI pipelines and to start contributing to the ecosystem. I’m particularly interested in how OpenVINO handles cross-platform inference on ARM and x86.
As I dive deeper into the codebase and start contributing, I’m also very interested in potentially submitting a proposal for GSoC 2026 to work on one of the project ideas. I’d love to align my learning journey with a meaningful contribution to the toolkit.
Looking forward to interacting with you all!
Best, ATHARVA JADHAV
