GSoC 2026 – Interest in Project 11 and Setup Guidance

Hi OpenVINO team

I’m preparing for Google Summer of Code 2026 and very interested in Project 11.

I’m currently setting up the OpenVINO environment and revising PyTorch inference workflows to better understand the conversion and benchmarking pipeline.

Before moving further, I wanted to ask:

Is there any recommended starting point in the repository for contributors exploring this project?

Are there specific prerequisite tasks or example notebooks you recommend running first?

I’m looking forward to learning and contributing.
