[bug] Leaflet plugins: measure distance and area is broken

Describe the bug
The "measure distance and area" is broken, clicking on points moves the map, looks very quirky.

Steps To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. open http://localhost:8080/examples/netjsonmap-plugins.html
2. try using the measure area plugin

Expected behavior
Measuring should work without quirks.

We should write a basic browser test for ensuring leaflet plugins are working fine.

ill add this fix + browser test to the list of the browser tests im working on currently (mentioned in #492) and submit a separate PR for this as well
