zfs set com.apple.mimic=ntfs poolname

OK I think it can be done. I simply set it to NTFS when we register the property for each dataset. Then if the property exists on disk, that value will be overwritten.

I am now in a situation where I installed the .inf manually and got

but zfs.exe not found at Powershell console

A deinstallation/reinstallation of rc8 does not fix that.

Guess I don't follow. If I go to releases, its try rc8 isnt there unless I click "show all 13 assets", then it shows up. Since GH only shows 12 by default

What's not working for me is the installer for openzvol.
Deinstalled OpenZFS, rebooted, reinstalled rc8 but only openzfs

Prohibit adding a disk, already part of the pool?

When I install later, I have no issues with openzvol.sys being installed, so we need to find out more information as to what goes wrong. I can also reboot without issues, it comes back ok.

For fun, I downloaded Win11 arm64 and setup a VM, VS, SDK, WDK etc. To see how much work it would be to compile, but sadly, it is producing x86_64 .obj files even though I shake my fists to it.

so propably a 24H2 problem where openzvol is not shown
