Currently, the security groups are always opened on the TCP protocol.

UDP protocols might be useful in the future:

  • RTSP
  • IOT related protocols
  • statistics/logs

The UDP protocol would be selected when creating ASG:

  • Either as a heuristics when parsing URI schemes
  • As a configuration flag within the broker
