I have NVIDIA 3D Vision hardware for stereoscopic 3D and I'm trying to get it working with Orbiter's built-in 3D, but I'm not quite sure how to turn it on. Apparently it requires D3D9Client which is is only available in Orbiter_ng.exe in 2016 and 2024 versions but they both crash after the loading screen. Only the latest development build runs with D3D9 on my end, but still I'm not getting native 3D.
I can force 3D via the driver, but I'd rather use native 3D when possible, to hopefully avoid artifacts like the frustum culling AKA black triangles/geometry disappearing off the side edges like this:
