Adding an agent

Are there plans to add an agent? So that it would be possible to monitor different servers
for example as it is done by portainer or dozzle.

Thank you for your question.

At the moment, our top priority is to address current architectural issues and improve security measures. I am working on implementing a robust session mechanism and additional security features for real-time requests. We also plan to develop a plugin to monitor the availability of web resources, which is an urgent concern for us. However, due to the additional cost of cloud infrastructure, there may be limitations to this feature.

Expanding our bot's capabilities to monitor multiple hosts seems unnecessary to me, as there are other professional solutions available for this purpose. I will revisit this idea in the future if necessary

Scheduled for the end of Q3 2025, the implementation will take place through private networks for cloud infrastructure.

The current state of the feat/0.3.0-dev branch and the performance audit have led to the decision to completely update the architecture (async/await), including for the correct implementation of the requested feature. This will require additional time and costs, so the roadmap has been updated. You can find the updated roadmap

With the architecture change (just the core for now), the agent and telegram web app for displaying statistics are ready. It's still in development, but I want to share the progress so that the direction I'm working in is clear.

I will be happy to share the news about our progress. Pytmbot has a new modern interface called Astatium. It supports the adaptive mobile version and the Telegram Mini App. We are also actively working on the implementation of machine learning and agents.

The first public alpha version of Pytmbot, built on a completely new architecture and equipped with new features, is expected in the first quarter of 2026. However, it is worth considering that not everything will be available at the initial stage, since the volume of tasks that we have to solve is truly huge.
