The halogen bulb's P CH MOSFET gets turned on just fine, but couldn't turn off fast enough for a 50 KHz PWM. We switched it down to 5 KHz and changed the serial gate resistor to 22 ohms and the pull up to 100 ohms.
This works, but frankly, it may be worthwhile to just switch to a gate driver chip like we did originally (but for a P channel, not N channel).
