This project was developed as part of my MSc in Data Science at the University of Bristol. Using UK census data, I created an interactive Tableau dashboard to explore:
- 📈 Growth of STEM workforce
- 👩🔬 Gender & ethnic diversity trends
- 🗺️ Geographical distribution patterns
- 🔍 Multivariate demographic analysis (UMAP)
- STEM workforce share increased by 1.02%
- Female representation up by nearly 5%
- Ethnic diversity remained low (88% White)
- Regional STEM employment varies significantly
- Tableau (interactive dashboard with filters & maps)
- UMAP dimensionality reduction (2D scatter plot)
- Stacked bar charts, choropleth map, interactive filters
