People interested in geocoding (AKA “georeferencing”) might be interested in this little tool I released: https://rdmpage.github.io/gbif-geocoder/. It takes a locality string (e.g., “Cambodia: Ratanakiri Province, Virachey National Park”) and searches GBIF for specimens with similar locality strings, plotting the results on a map. Hence, if you have a locality for which you don’t know the coordinates, this tool might be helpful.

@dustymc Basically the same idea, except I don't do any preprocessing of the data, it's just a straight lookup of localities in GBIF via locality search.
