New City : Bangkok, Thailand

Hello everyone,

I would like to propose adding Bangkok, Thailand to the EqualStreetNames project.

I have already created a repository.

The repository was created using the template and has been configured for Bangkok. The Overpass queries, city relation identifier, and configuration settings have been also updated.

Please let me know if any adjustments or steps are required before the city can be included.

Unfortunately, I think Bangkok will need some cleaning.
The process currently fails because of this relation: https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/19887194

Wikidata item Q132527215 for relation(19887194) does not exist.

The Q132527215 item has indeed been deleted in March 2025 from Wikidata.

Could you update the relation and let me know when it's done so I can restart the process ?

Side note: I've noticed you've used config.php to specify the gender, which is fine and will work, but the recommandation is to use name:etymology:wikidata tag when/if possible.

I've dived a bit further and you'll need to cleanup the following:

• Wikidata item Q132527215 for relation(19887194) does not exist.
• Wikidata item Q132527316 for way(28151683) does not exist.
• Wikidata item Q132168401 for way(31973415) does not exist.
• Wikidata item Q132168344 for way(156790286) does not exist.
• Wikidata item Q132168401 for way(1151344330) does not exist.
• Wikidata item Q132527316 for way(1223791186) does not exist.
• Wikidata item Q132527316 for way(1223791187) does not exist.

I have made some changes so the missing Wikidata item are not blocking anymore (but please, still take some time to clean it up).

I'll finalize it and publish https://bangkok.equalstreetnames.org/ later this week.

Thanks a lot for digging into this and for unblocking the process.

I’ve now cleaned up the invalid Wikidata references you pointed out, including the relation 19887194 and the listed ways with deleted items.
I’ll also stick to using name:etymology:wikidata tags where possible instead of relying on config.php, as recommended.
Please feel free to restart the process whenever convenient, and let me know if anything else comes up.
