App Icon and Document Icon

Curious if anyone wants to give a pass at an icon design?

I feel like its a rabbit hole that if i fall into i will lose all programming momentum haha.

I did have a thought-train about this at some point. Some kind of fabric weave with the threads as left-to-right patching. I realised there was a good chance it would end up in the ballpark of the MS Windows logo-world, at which point I recoiled in horror.
