AI search is extremely slow

I've had reports from colleagues, and noticed it myself, that the AI search on our doc sites is extremely slow. I've turned it off for now because it was pretty much unusable. The regular text search seems to work fine.

It can take minutes for a very simple search - for example, searching for a single keyword that we know is in the site - to return any results at all.

Sometimes clicking the search field displays a starter list of questions and sometimes not.

And usually if not, then the search often returns the "something went wrong" error.
