I'd say yes, as it would be an easier way for people with a lower know-how of GitHub to clearly communicate their issues and proposals. It would also be an easier way for contributors and collaborators to communicate.

I think a Discord server makes sense at this stage, but only if we are willing to moderate it and keep the support boundaries clear.

The upside:

• faster community help
• easier onboarding for non-GitHub-heavy users
• better place for screenshots, quick setup questions, and informal contributor chat

The risk:

• maintainers get dragged into real-time support all day
• decisions get lost in chat instead of ending up in issues/PRs/discussions
• it can increase workload if there is no clear routing policy

My recommendation would be:

• use Discord for quick help, community chat, and contributor coordination
• keep confirmed bugs / implementation work in GitHub Issues
• keep durable ideas and searchable support answers in GitHub Discussions

So: yes, probably worth it, but only with clear "what belongs where" rules from day one.
