Description of issue
Hi,
I am running brew commands on our company's devices via jumpcloud, our device management platform. Installing brew casks works like a charm, but upgrading them or deinstalling them doesn't. It throws the following error:
Not privileged to remove service.
Error: zoom: Failure while executing;
/usr/bin/env /bin/launchctl remove us.zoom.ZoomDaemon
exited with 1. Here's the output:
Not privileged to remove service.
Jumpcloud support states that was a matter of macOS sandboxing not allowing to update apps. I find this hard to believe that installing is possible but upgrading isn't.
Can you help?
Best
Jonas
