Description of issue

What is the recommended way to install a specific version of a cask? Let's say of APPNAME@4 I want to install precisely version 4.2.5 instead of the latest which may be 4.2.6.
My workaround has always been to just download the .rb file for version 4.2.5 manually, and run "brew install --cask path-to/APPNAME.rb", but it seems that this behavior has been discontinued. How can I achieve that then?
