Description of issue

I manage Amazon Q through Homebrew, however as of today (14 Oct 2025) this happens

Error: amazon-q: Download failed on Cask 'amazon-q' with message: Download failed: https://desktop-release.q.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/1.18.0/Amazon%20Q.dmg

If I try to CURL that URL I get the following
❯ curl https://desktop-release.q.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/1.18.0/Amazon%20Q.dmg

AccessDeniedAccess Denied%

But that might be I don't fulfil a specific criteria to download it that way.

It looks like that release was removed. We've updated to 1.18.1 though. Run brew update and try again.
