Description of issue

https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/fldigi is the cask for fldigi, which installs under MacOS.

There is also a tarball of sources that works on Linux available from the distribution, but that's not picked up by Linuxbrew. The reported error is "Error: macOS is required for this software."

Nobody added support for Linux yet. If you want it you can make a pull request to add it.

We currently distribute this software as a cask using upstream’s pre-built macOS .dmg. The tarball would require building from source, which would in turn require maintaining a formula for Linux and a cask for macOS. That split isn’t something we’re able to support.

If you’d like to build the application from source, you’re welcome to do so in your own Homebrew tap.
