How to automatically transfer chat to a human operator when requested?

Hello,

I have installed the ChatGPT integration in Live Helper Chat following the video tutorial. Everything is working fine, but I need help configuring the system to automatically transfer the chat to a human operator when the user requests it.

My requirements:
1. If a user types something like “I want to talk to a human”, the chat should stop responding with ChatGPT and transfer the conversation to a human operator.
2. Ideally, an operator should receive a notification to take over the chat.
3. If no operator is available, the user should receive a message like “No operators are currently online. Please try again later.”

Could you please guide me on how to achieve this?

Just define function in chatgpt function calling/tool calls. In kuc trigger for that function execute update current chat and transfer to operator.

Thank you for your support so far. I’ve tried to follow all the steps and I believe I have set everything up correctly, but unfortunately, the chat transfer to an operator is still not working.

Every time I reach out, I get the response:
“You have defined the function in ChatGPT, but it’s not supported in LHC.”

I’m a bit stuck here and I feel like this might be beyond my current understanding. Could you clarify what exactly is missing or what needs to be done differently?
