We’ll be scheduling the next MESH CoP meeting for December 10, for those who are able to attend (noting the overlap with AGU). We’ll be posting banners on both the MESH GitHub (https://github.com/MESH-Model/) and Wiki (https://mesh-model.atlassian.net/wiki/) for those who aren’t included in this list, but please also feel free to forward this invite to others as you see appropriate.

This will be the first regular re-occurrence of the MESH CoP in some months so it will be more of a touch-base, highlighting recent developments, our migration to the new Wiki, introduction to the [email protected] mailbox (first time to the CoP), review of ongoing administrative items, and to present the next steps in our development plan. As we resume these meetings, and based on feedback, we are shifting to a stretched schedule – approximately every 2-4 months for this large group. We’ve seen regional (i.e., satellite) meetings emerge, and we support and will present this as a way for localized groups to meet more frequently, with the subject matter of the CoP meetings becoming less technical over time. In future meetings, we’ll aim to present at least one thematically focused presentation with adequate time for discussion. We’ll also facilitate a roundtable by exception – that is, not requiring everyone to provide an update, but anyone who has an update or open questions to provide one.
