Add Disk to a VM vSphere

Hello,
I need help adding a disk to a VM in Compute -> Infrastructure -> Virtual Machines.
When I reconfigure a VM and click on the Add Disk button, the default setting for the Dependent radio button is ‘No’, and I would like to change it to ‘Yes’ by default.

Could you please tell me where I can change this setting?

Hm that's weird I thought that Dependent was the default. I wonder if the logic accidentally was changed during a react conversion.
