Currently, when setting up a new modpack, I have to manually copy the
options.txtfile (and potentially other configuration files,hotbar.nbtetc.) from an existing instance to keep my custom keybinds, video settings, and accessibility options consistent. It is a repetitive process when creating multiple instances. While the current
"Copy Instance"feature allows carrying over these settings, it creates a full clone of the instance, including all mods and data. A more lightweight"Import settings"option would be very useful when setting up fresh or experimental instances, allowing us to quickly apply preferred keybinds and video settings without creating a heavy duplicate. This would be a significant quality-of-life improvement for users who maintain multiple instances and want to keep their settings consistent across them.
It may be the same as #5312, #774 and #1077
I'm sorry if anything is unclear, as English is not my first language.
