Patch Apps Requiring Google Play Sign-In

Question

Some apps require signing in to Google Play.

1. Is this a general Android ecosystem requirement enforced by some apps? (Maybe it is related to a mechanisms such as Google Play Integrity API, which replaced older SafetyNet / LVL licensing flows).
2. Can this requirement be bypassed or patched using ReVanced?

If relevant, I usually install APKs using the following sources/tools (roughly in this order):

1. Aurora Store
2. F-Droid / Droid-ify
3. APKUpdater
4. GitHub Store
5. Obtainium

Examples of apps that appear to require Google Play sign-in (older versions of these apps work without signing in to Google Play):
