Fritzing

I tried to import a Fritzing file into my Fritzing program. Unfortunately, I get error messages.
Part cannot be opened. Fritzing Version is 1.0.6

Hi, Gokul here. It looks like you’re trying to import the XIAO ESP32C6 component into Fritzing. Here’s the correct way to do it:

1. Make sure the part file you downloaded is in .fzpz format.
2. In the Parts section, go to My Parts.
3. Right-click on the empty space in the My Parts area and select Import.
4. Choose the file Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32C6.fzpz.

These steps should help you import the component into your workspace. I followed the same process to verify, and it worked for me using the file from GitHub

Thanks for your reply. What you wrote is exactly what I've been trying to do all along. Now I suspected that it might be due to the German localization. That's why I switched Fritzing to English as a test. Unfortunately, the error message still appears. I could also imagine that Fritzing 1.0.6 accesses different libraries during decompression. Next, I will look for other parts from other manufacturers to test them. I have already tested whether it is due to spaces in the file name, but no. I have also tried to start Fritzing as an administrator. That doesn't help either.

Hours later...
I tried the "Vertical_Resistor" from https://forum.fritzing.org/t/how-do-you-get-a-standard-resistor-to-draw-as-vertical-on-a-breadboard/748/4 to import it into "Mine" and it works without any Problem.

Now I loaded the file into an editor. So I can see, it's not a Fritzing-Part-File, but something from Github:

Therefore I downloaded the file from Github for the 4. time and now it worked. I did nothing else.
Maybe it was a GitHub issue.
