Hi @sliptonic! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the Trilium team. Trilium Notes supports making pages read-only using the Achieving your workflow—where anyone can add log entries but not edit the main page—would require custom development, such as scripting with Trilium's API or modifying share templates, but this is not a built-in feature and would need additional work. To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do? Good | Irrelevant | Incorrect | Verbose | Hallucination | Report 🐛 | Other |

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place or describing my use-case poorly. I've been searching through a lot of applications trying to find something with the feature set that we need. Let me describe.
I help run a maker space. Like many spaces, we have laser cutters, milling machines, 3D printers, etc for use by members.
I want to create a set of 'info sheets' for the equipment; One page per machine. The pages will include some templated information like
The pages will include a QR code that points to the page URL. So the pages are designed to be printed and stuck on the wall near the machine. This makes it easy to find and update the pages as things change.
For the most part, the pages will be maintained by administrators of the site and Trilium appears to be a perfect fit for this whole use case.
The only remaining feature is that I would like the pages to include a table of log entries that reflect use/maintenance, etc.
So if you scan the QR code, you would see the information and the recent notes.
I'd like anyone in the space to be able to create a note for any piece of equipment but NOT edit the main page details.
The workflow would be to walk up to a machine, scan the QR code, review the information and recent notes, and create an entry that would appear in the log.
Is this last part possible? How can I restrict anonymous users to create a note which would be aggregated into the log without edit rights to change the page itself?
