What are and How to use Text Snippets #7071

Hi, so from the little I was able to gather, you can add text snippets to a note. What I'm half thinking is I can make what is essentially a TTRPG monster block that I can use. However, I cannot figure out how to actually create a text snippet template. Setting it as a template doesn't seem to make it show up in the text snippets section. Am I missing something? |

Text snippets in Trilium are small, reusable blocks of formatted text you can quickly insert into any note—perfect for things like TTRPG monster stat blocks. They are different from templates, which define the structure of an entire note. To create a text snippet, make a new note and label it with To use your snippet, click the text snippets button in the formatting toolbar or use slash commands by typing the snippet's title. If your new snippet doesn't show up right away, give it a few seconds or reload the app. Only notes with the For your TTRPG monster block, just format the snippet note as you want it to appear, label it with More details and step-by-step instructions are in the official documentation.
