As the title suggests, is there a way to see where a note has been included? I want to make something that is akin to Wikipedia's "Citation Needed", where you can include it on a page, but you can also see all pages that have that tag. I could probably do something like tag the page manually (e.g. I could also just include the note AND add the tag, but if there's a better way to do it, I'm all ears |

Hi @Grayda! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the Trilium team. Yes! Trilium has built-in support for this via Note Paths and cloning. Here's how to create your "Citation Needed" system:
This gives you both:
The status bar also shows a signpost icon in the tree view for cloned notes, making them easy to identify. Alternatively, you could use the "include note" feature which embeds another note as a read-only widget — the Backlinks feature will then show which notes reference/include it. Note: If you don't see the status bar, it might be hidden by a custom theme — switching to the default "Trilium" theme should restore it. To reply, just mention @dosu. Share context across your team and agents. Try Dosu. |
