Hi @robertqwer! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the Trilium team.

This is a CKEditor5 upstream bug that has been reported multiple times [1] [2]. The contextualballoon-add-view-exist error is triggered when CKEditor tries to add a UI popup (like a slash command or emoji suggestion) that already exists.

Workaround: Go to Options → Text Notes and uncheck "Enable slash commands". If crashes persist, also disable emoji auto-completion and @-autocompletion in the same settings [3].

A permanent fix depends on the CKEditor team resolving it upstream.
