In Options -> Appearance, there is a "Content width" setting. Maybe changing this will help you. |

Thanks @hulmgulm, but adjusting the content width does not resolve the issue. My pixel-width is currently set to 1920 (monitor width) The panes still revert to half-width upon opening "folder" notes despite the setting. These notes were populated via ETAPI from html pages and placed via code into a hierachy matching the original note-set. I'll go and wipe the note-set entirely and test more with locally added notes as this is a game-stopper. I hope that at some stage the developers re-open this as a bug, as the temporary fix of toggling layouts is not a viable long-term solution. |

I've been able to narrow this down: Next is to check the css of these cards to see if I can hunt down the offending directive (although this might be code generated)... |

Description
When viewing notes, they only occupy half the pane. I cannot drag the right edge to increase the note size. If I split then each note occupies a thin strip a quarter of the pane width. If I toggle between Horizontal and Vertical Launcher bar (it doesn't matter which way) the Note suddenly returns to occupying the full width. But then it reverts when I open a new note...it briefly flashes full width but instantly shrinks back to half the pane again. Toggle. Full width again. Visit another note...half width again. The theme doesn't appear to make a difference.
