Regional Leads is a huge step forward for Akash. Ringmasters would benefit for getting a bit more flexible on the amount of funds provided depending on local prices / cost of living as I believe is happening for this quarter. Good good updates. |

Great proposal sir @CaptainSplince. This is a great initiative. It might be valuable to expand the "University Programs Manager" program by recruiting university ambassadors from existing tech, blockchain, or entrepreneurship clubs on each campus. These ambassadors could run localized marketing campaigns and engagement initiatives tailored to their student communities. This approach would foster more organic growth and allow the program to scale efficiently across multiple universities while tapping into established student networks. |

Exactly! We are starting with a pilot program of just 8 students from 4 universities (2 from each so they have a "buddy"). Like you said, the idea is that ambassadors run workshops, meetups, and hackathons that spread the word about Akash in a way that feels authentic and trusted. The program gives students hands-on experience, helps them build networks, and keeps them engaged even after graduation—creating a long-term growth engine for Akash and the decentralized cloud. If all goes as planned, well be prepared to bring in multiple universities for next semesters cohort! |

If that's the case, I think the program is well-positioned to take off—especially if the selected universities for the pilot phase already have a solid base of blockchain or Web3 interest. That kind of environment can really help ambassadors gain traction quickly. |

Yes, this proposal is strong and necessary. We already have good momentum and growth in the Akash ecosystem, and having a vibrant community is our biggest advantage. An additional ringmasters and regional leads program is a good scale point, since we have already voted on the marketing growth program. These things should boost each other and hopefully increase the awareness and the stats for the Akash. i was concerned with the amount of funding at first, but come to think of it, with the volatility buffer, and since the program is not aimed at utilizing all of the sum, it's a fair game. We have to scale, so let's see where these lead us. |

Hey all - as a quick update, I've reduced the total budget request for Q4 from $565,815 to $363,942.21. The reduction is from 5 regional leads to 1 for Q4. |

Hi @CaptainSplince, Great work on the proposal. Can't wait to see all of these programs continue their recent success for Q4. You mentioned that it's a simplified proposal and referenced the original 2025 discussion, however as the requested amount is different from that in the original discussion, would you consider mentioning in the proposal text why the amount has changed/increased (e.g. the addition of the regional leads program)? Are you planning to report (in this proposal like you did in Q3 or somewhere else) how much was unspent in the Q3 proposal and hence how much less is needed from the actual ask for this proposal? The spend report doesn't seem to show that information (and doesn't even include regional leads at all which in Q3 was requested for enough for 4x regional leads at the old calculation). Looking forward to seeing some minor tweaks and seeing it go on chain! Kam |

Also, in Q3, we had an Akash Community Programs Proposal and a separate Q3 Events Resourcing Proposal. My understanding is that the "Community Events Sponsorship and Attendance" section of this proposal (which was not present in the Q3 proposal text but is mentioned in the original 2025 discussion does not replace the Q4 Events Resourcing proposal which we should still expect to see separately as per this discussion. Maybe it's worth clarifying this a little in the text. |

Overview
This is a simplified proposal with updates based off of the 2025 Akash Ecosystem Growth and Support proposal that went through multiple rounds of feedback at the end of 2024. For Q4, I’ve revised and simplified the funding request into digestible segments listing the item to fund, an update on progress from the previous quarter, and the upcoming quarter’s goals.
This also serves as a template for the upcoming 2026 Community Proposal currently under development. This proposal seeks to establish and fund essential community activities and programs for the Akash Network throughout Q4 of 2025.
Programs & Activities Overview
Community Events Sponsorship and Attendance
Sponsorship and attendance at events is an essential ingredient in the community mix. In Q3, we experimented with providing funding for conferences and events that community members themselves could manage and participate in. This approach not only expanded Akash’s presence at industry gatherings but also empowered community leaders to represent the network, build relationships, and showcase their expertise in authentic, localized ways.
Q3 Update: Sponsored one hackathon (Over 600 Participants and over 42 Akash projects submitted). Reduced cost per participant by almost 50% compared to previous hackathon sponsorships. Attended Coinbase’s Base App launch event, strengthening relationships with influencers and partners.
Q4 Goal: Continue to establish relationships with event organizers and actively participate with projects, people, and organizations at grassroots and community-focused crypto and AI events and hackathons.
Community Contributions
The Community Contributions program is a strategic initiative designed to foster active participation and innovation within the Akash Network ecosystem. Contributors can take on tasks and projects aligned with their skills, showcase expertise, earn rewards, and directly impact ecosystem growth.
Regional Community Leads
Introduced in Q2 2025 to scale the community and better support local initiatives. The Q3 application process showed that the initial budget was insufficient to properly onboard and support leads across regions. The updated budget increases rewards and provides new resources.
Vanguards
The Vanguards are a select group of distinguished Akash leaders chosen from Insiders based on exceptional contributions. They mentor, support, and provide feedback to strengthen community culture and product development.
Navigators
Navigators are skilled technical Insiders who provide hands-on support to developers deploying on Akash.
Alchemists
Alchemists are content creators producing tutorials, guides, and educational resources to simplify Akash for broader audiences.
Ringmasters
The Ringmasters program empowers Insiders to host impactful local meetups, providing resources and funding to grow grassroots communities.
University Programs Manager
Responsible for building relationships with universities, student orgs, and academic partners to introduce students to Akash and create long-term engagement pathways.
Proposal Validation
This proposal has undergone rigorous review and validation to ensure alignment with the community’s goals.
Funding Request
Total Q4 2025 Request: $363,942.21 USD in AKT
As with prior proposals, we do not anticipate needing the full amount. Having access ensures continuity of operations if required. Any unused funds will be returned to the community pool at the end of the quarter.
