Standard agent set up cosmos thread-message-store not capturing user ID

In thread-message-store I am able to see fields such as id, thread_id, content. However, I don't see a way to link the record to a user. Is there a way to associate the thread-message-store records to specific users? I assume it is possible since in foundry when I click my threads I only see the entries for me.
