I created an MCP Server for MSSQL on azure functions. You can deploy it to an azure function and link it to your agent.
I used already existing resources and adapted: I started from the existing MCP for MSSQL which runs as a console app.
I created an azure function and applied the azure function MCP extension to turn into an MCP server.
Any feedback is very welcome!
It became very easy to put online and link to an agent.
