Hm, okay. I'm able to run executables only from within the folder where the emulated drive C is. It's funny, previously I was able to run binaries from any location. |

I just installed the Bottles flatpak on Artix (Arch derivative without systemd).
Previously, I used the same Bottles flatpak on a different distribution (Funtoo) and did not have this problem. I came back to Bottles after changing distribution because I previously had a very good experience with it with basically no problems.
I made a default 64-bit bottle with compatibility settings for win10. Then tried to run a binary installer in it.
Clicking on "run executable" opens the file chooser window, which presents me with two predefined locations: my home folder, and Desktop. It does not show me any subfolders or files present on the desktop, and inside my home folder it shows me no files and only 2 folders: .var and .local And inside those it again shows me no files. That is regardless of whether I choose "compatible executables" or "all files".
Moreover, if I place a Windows .exe file either directly on the desktop, directly in the root of my home folder or either in ~/.var or ~/.local, it will not show it to me and let me choose it - again, even if "all files" is selected.
Thus, I cannot select any executables to run.
My DE is XFCE4 if that matters. I used the same in Funtoo with the Bottles flatpak and did not have this problem.
