broken on wayland?

Hi, it's been a while since I've used bottles. I haven't had any problems with it previously, but now it seems completely broken and I'm wondering if there are issues due to me now being on wayland.

Note that I have completely cleared the flatpak and reinstalled. This is on manjaro latest stable.

First, it's occasionally crashing with

Gtk:ERROR:../gtk/gtkwidget.c:4024:gtk_widget_ensure_allocate_on_children: assertion failed: (!priv->resize_needed)
Bail out! Gtk:ERROR:../gtk/gtkwidget.c:4024:gtk_widget_ensure_allocate_on_children: assertion failed: (!priv->resize_needed)

Bottles seem to create successfully, however when I click "Run executable" nothing happens, so bottles is unusable. No log messages are output in the terminal when I click it.

I have messed around in flatseal trying to grant additional permissions. The settings are pretty liberal, but I see no obvious indication anything else is needed.

I realize this description is so vague that nobody will be able to help, but any advice on how to diagnose this?

This clearly has nothing to do with wayland. The flatpak on my system is spectacularly broken, I have no idea why, usually I have no difficulties with flatpaks.

The install of bottles from AUR seems to be working just fine. It's pretty weird that the flatpak is so broken but the AUR version is working fine, usually it's the opposite.
